- Prayers and best wishes for Kareem Abdul Jabbar who’s battling leukemia. The Captain has been a fixture in the Los Angeles basketball scene since playing for UCLA and Coach John Wooden. With one of the most unstoppable shots ever (but hardly used sky hook) KAJ also played 14 years in the NBA where he won a title with the Milwaukee Bucks and 5 with the Showtime Lakers of the 80’s.
